The CVAR seeks to hire a highly motivated individual for the position of Research Centre and Library Manager. The selected candidate will report to CVAR’s Executive Director and will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the general operation of the CVAR’s Research Centre and Library
- Support library and archives users
- Manage and coordinate an Erasmus+ program
- Supervise volunteers and interns
- Oversee the documentation, cataloguing, and digitization of CVAR’s collections and the uploading of digital content to the online digital platform
- Administer CVAR’s Collections Management System both for internal and external use
- Support the organization of events and lectures
Required Qualifications:
- BSc/BA in library science, museum studies, art history, archaeology or any other relevant field
- MSc/MA in a relevant field
- Excellent knowledge and command of the Greek and English language
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, change priorities with limited supervision
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage
