The children learn about the first dinner at the Government House, observe the tableware, and discover the origin of the designs and symbols on the plates and cups.
The original menu of the dishes served is available on the table! The image of a grasshopper on the menu makes a particular impression, so the children will try to find out why this insect was used.
We gather information about the formal dinner at that time, and come up with a theme for our own reception, as well as the food we will serve to our guests.
Finally, the children will create handmade festive decorations inspired by the designs on the ceramics, adding their own touch to an old story.
