Saturday at the Museum: Dogs in the Museum

CVAR opens its doors... to our four-legged friends!

We invite you to a special educational program for children, adults and, of course, your dogs. An event dedicated to the relationship between humans and dogs, combining knowledge, history and a walk in the heart of old Nicosia.

During the first part of the programme, Stefanos Severis, a professional dog trainer, will let us know basic commands, training techniques, and practical tips for a balanced, happy coexistence with our dogs.

Then, together with our dogs, we will take a special tour of the old city of Nicosia within the walls. During the tour, we will learn about the history of the legendary guardian dog of Famagusta Gate and discover stories that connect the city with its most loyal residents.

An experience that brings people and animals together through knowledge, respect, and shared exploration.

Come and experience a different kind of day at the museum with us... with tails wagging with joy!

Dogs must be accompanied and kept on a leash.
