Ms Serap Kanay will be giving a lecture on: "Afro Cypriots: An İn/Visible Community".
The lecture will be held on Thursday 3rd November 2022 at 18.30pm,
at the Centre of Visual Arts and Research (CVAR)
Serap Kanay studied at Guildhall University Foundation Studies in Art and Design, followed by a BA in Fine Arts and a Research Master in Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam.
She has had many solo and participated in group art exhibitions parallel to lecturing widely in Cyprus and abroad and publishing many articles. Her main subject concerns research on the Afro Cypriots. Ms Kanay is a certified tourist guide.
