Inscribed on the back: Eftychia Stivadoros, nee Emfietzi, born in 1853. Died 1949 at the age of 96, that is 50 years after the death of her husband Paul Stivadoros. Efthychia Emfietzi, closely related to George Emfietzi, eminent lawyer, politician, mayor of Famagusta for several years, during the English occupation. Famagusta, after the departure of the English from Cyprus was invaded by the Turkish Army in 1974 and is still occupied. Eftychia and Paul Stivadoros raised four children, 3 daughters and a son, much younger from the daughters. Eftychia was of a strong positive character, very active, a most capable person
