Small watercolour taken from the diary of cadet George P. Green (midshipman) from the vessel H.M.S. EMPRESS OF INDIA, captained by Charles Campbell, while the ship was in Limassol on the 16th of June 1898. The painting depicts a two masted ship and a small row boat on the still water of the harbour with Limassol and the hills beyond in soft shades of muted green
