The artist is one of the well known Cypriot artists born in the village of Trypimeni. He studied at the Fine Arts School of Perugia and worked as an art teacher in Cyprus for twenty eight years. He was mainly a topographer and landscape artist. His works often represent corners of old Nicosia or villages. This pencil sketch is characterised by the geometric design of the houses and the stark depiction of the street
