Description:
A romantic landscape defines the city of Nicosia in a large plain. The colours are soft and the sky is hazy. The mountains have acquired the beautiful colour of pink-mauve found in the Near East and so often portrayed by artists. It must be early summer as the crops have not been harvested yet.
