CVAR invites you to a special screening of The Red Balloon, one of the most beautiful and timeless films in world cinema. Accompanied by popcorn, this film will transport us to 1950s Paris, where a young boy builds a unique friendship with his red balloon.
The film explores themes such as friendship, loneliness and hope. Without dialogue, it allows children from all backgrounds to enjoy it and connect with its themes.
After the screening, children will have the opportunity to create their own holiday cards. These cards will be sent as an act of love and companionship to the Nicosia Elderly Care Center. Our aim is to spread joy and festive warmth to the elderly, creating a bridge of communication between different generations.
