The exhibition Journeys to Cyprus: Artists at the Paphos Theatre Excavation presents a collection of works by Australian artists who participated in the long-standing archaeological excavations at the Paphos Theatre. The exhibition explores the relationship between archaeology and artistic interpretation, capturing historical narratives through diverse mediums.

This initiative is supported by the Australian High Commission in Cyprus as part of its cultural diplomacy programme, marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between Cyprus and Australia. The project also acknowledges over a century of migration and cultural exchange between the two nations.

This exhibition serves as an artistic and archaeological bridge between Cyprus and Australia, reflecting shared histories, cultural exchanges, and contemporary interpretations of the past.
