CVAR invites children to a Free educational workshop on the themes of memory, Famagusta, and Varosha through painting and creative expression. The workshop is being held as part of a documentary by French filmmaker Cyril Lafon, who explores memory and nostalgia through his work.
Cyril Lafon will present the children with photographs of Varosha from the 1960s and a video of today. With the help of CVAR's educator, the children will draw a new Varosha, thus expressing their ideas and hopes.
During the workshop, video footage will be recorded for the purposes of the documentary, with respect for data protection and a relevant consent form for guardians.
