What am I looking at: Fur Stole

Large, satin lined silver fox stole with adjustable closure on the inside, commonly known as the silver fur. It was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Although one could find this model in different colours, the silver fox, with its long hair and grey silver colours was the most sought after by ladies following fashion. It was not only worn for warmth but primarily as a fashion accessory.
